Volunteers

Our volunteers are very important to our league. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer we would love to hear from you. Below is a list of the typical ways our volunteers can help us. Even if you don't see something here that sounds appealing to you let us know, we'd love to find a way to help you get involved. Please know that we are following the Little League® rules for volunteer eligibility. If you have more questions about what this means go to the bottom of this page for more details.

Something to keep in mind. We are scheduling ALL games at the Grant County Park in Crittenden this year. We know for some this means a longer drive but it also means we can centralize the activities and hopefully make it easier on parents with multiple kids playing ball this year.
  • Field MaintenanceField Maintenance will be determined on as needed bases but will probably require prep work before Opening day as well as ongoing needs that will arise during the season. This job will be supported by the Grant County Parks and Recreation. Any time, even if it is limited, that you may have to help with this important job is appreciated.
  • Score KeeperThis is a great role for parents as you are often at the games for your children. We need one Score keeper per team. We will provide training as needed.

Volunteer Background Check Guidelines
As an organized League we know how important it is to have volunteers. It is also important that background checks are done for every volunteer. It is Little League® and Grant County Little League's desire to make sure that every child is in a safe environment when participating with any of our league functions. Little League International has a strict guideline for these rules and they will be carried out by Grand County Little League.
